About
With over 25 years of experience in the wine industry, my career spans from cellular and lab work to bookkeeping, brand ownership, and business operations. After earning a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis, I began my journey in winery production, working as a cellar hand and later as an enologist, where I developed a strong foundation in the technical and operational sides of winemaking.
Over the years, I was one of several partners in a wine brand and managed the financial and administrative side of our family’s wine consulting business. These experiences gave me a clear, practical view of the day-to-day realities wineries face, especially when it comes to navigating complex compliance requirements. Moving into compliance work was a natural fit for my analytical, detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy and deadlines. I’m also a lifelong learner, curious by nature and committed to staying current in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
